Any twitter folks here use a samsung galaxy? If so, what app do you recommend?About a week and a half ago, I bought my wife a Galaxy S3. While not an app per se, the coolest feature by far we've stumbled across is the ability to play music, vides and pictures through our Sony Internet TV. Simple as pressing an icon.
I'm getting my wife an S3 for her birthday soon. She's been wanting one. I'll have to test this with our Sony TVs.

I went for the S2 for $100 less than the S3 because it seemed like all I'd be missing were the fancy features like this. I don't even HAVE an internet-enabled TV!

But they're cheating! They're mixing up stuff from Death Star 1 (Star Wars: A New Hope) and Death Star 2 (Star Wars: Return / Revenge of the Jedi)!
DS1 didn't have the Endor shield generator problem, it self-generated a shield that would keep out capital ships, but not fighters.
DS2 didn't have the problem of the main weapon charge time (although the fiction indicates they were firing at a lower power to blast the Rebel capitol ships)

You should be forewarned (I wasn't). Look up the S3 on Wiki and scroll to the bottom of the article. Something about sudden death syndrome. Hopefully they've fixed that problem in the units out now.
My thought question: Have you ever been told that your query runs too fast?
My advice:
INDEXing a poor-performing query is like putting sugar on cat food. Yeah, it probably tastes better but are you sure you want to eat it?
The path of least resistance can be a slippery slope. Take care that fixing your fixes of fixes doesn't snowball and end up costing you more than fixing the root cause would have in the first place.

Surely the Empire's engineers would have recognized that the interstellar medium would be very inefficient at conducting heat away from the Death Star, so they must have designed this "thermal exhaust port" to vent some kind of heated gases, but it seems that venting coolant to the exterior of the Death Star would require a steady supply of coolant, making the Death Star especially vulnerable to supply chain disruptions.

Could have been built for emergencies, not standard usage. If the core overheats then vent until under control.

It is long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away. Though the longer ago it was, the less far away it could be. Unless, of course it is in another universe entirely, beyond the brane of ours. In this galaxy, the laws of physics are different (the best explanation of, well, everything in Star Wars) and space there is not the (almost) void that it is here. There they travel through the aether and an exhaust port works just fine.

That's about the only way to explain Star Wars. Different laws of physics. There are soooo many things in those movies that just aren't possible under out laws of physics
Go watch Episode 4, the battle at the Death Star and see how the X-Wings are flying. They're acting more like planes than space ships (compare to a Babylon 5 episode with a Star Fury battle)

Yep, and light sabres simply aren't possible. You can't simply stop light after a set distance.
