  • RE: Maintenance Plan Failures After Power Outages

    In case it helps:

The server is SQL Server 2000 SP3, running on Windows 2000 Server SP2.

  • RE: Drop Out Or Graduate?

They say youth is wasted on the young, maybe collge is as well.

I can't agree with this statement.  Although when people are younger, they may choose a major that...

  • RE: Replication... other options?

Thanks for the ideas, Robert!  I think that might help shed some light on this a bit more for me - gives me some sense of direction.  Thanks again!

  • RE: Replication... other options?

    Just an additional note:

What are you trying to do?

  • RE: Hungarian Notation To Be or Not To Be

I prefer to keep Hungarian Notation strictly to the applications and leave them out of the databases.  However, we do end up using some variation of it when naming stored...

  • RE: SA PASSWORD

I agree with Ken here.  It does seem odd that they'd want a program like this.  If they can justify the need for the SA password and ask nicely for...

  • RE: Copy table from one server to another

To do the copy from A to B, run the Data Transformation Services wizard.  You can open it from the Enterprise Manager.  Go down to the tables level of database...

  • RE: Unable to Register SQL Server

One thing you might wonder - you can use the EM from SQL 2000 to view SQL 7 servers but you cannot use the SQL 7 EM to view SQL...
