Thanks Lowell - turned out my master log isn't usable. We are going to go with the new install as is.

Open the database>Users and delete bob from the database and then re-add the login. Be sure to note what permissions bob has before you delete him!!

Thanks Phil, we have Sp1 applied but I did find some more info on the problem, this hotfix applies to RptSrv Sp1:

SQLBill is correct, check that setting. You can verify the delete by opening the Server>Management folders and expand SQL Server Agent and click on Jobs.
Find the job that you maintenance...

Open the Query Analyzer, click on the following:
Tools, Options, Results Tab, Look at first line:
Default results target: select "Results to Text" from drop down list box

That won't change the owner, just the package name. I need to assign a production support person to ownership so they can work on the package. We're using windows authentication.

I've got an enterprise dev and prod box with 8 instances each.
Pros: One server supports multiple instances.
Cons: One server supports multiple instances.
They are not really instances, they are really multiple...
